Julia Chetwood

Julia is an illustrator, animator and designer, originally from Naarm and currently living and creating in Porto. Pausing on small and simple moments of delight, she distills complex interior worlds into bright, joyful illustrations. Her weapons of choice are pencils, poscas and Procreate and her works are emotion-driven, with storytelling at the forefront.

Her designs for Rayo Paseo take inspiration from long slow days at the beach - the art of finding the perfect shell or bit of sea glass, drawing lines and patterns in the sand, watching the sun dip below the horizon, native plants lining the walk back home.
